Excellent article! Thanks!

Very applicable to my body shape too: a slender upper body with prominent hip bones and a ridiculously large and abrupt natural hip spring. I have indeed found by trial and error that the only way to make corsets fit me is to add significantly to the front hip seam (or insert a gusset/gore thereabout) but this is the first time I've actually read about it!
