Q: What is Foundations RevealedTM?
A: This website is not just a one-time standard course or a dry manual, but a motivated, exciting, all-inclusive online corsetmaking college. We offer articles, online classes, resources, help, inspiration and a sense of community for corset makers who have a burning desire to improve their skills - from complete beginners who want to make their first corset to seasoned pros looking for continuing professional development. Our members can enjoy a new how-to article every week, around 2000 words long with at least 25 photos, as well as unlimited access to our entire archive of classes, tutorials, how-tos, interviews and Q&As.

 

Q: I was a bit surprised to find out that I have to pay to join your website. Where does the money go?
A: Subscription fees are there to pay our writers. They are working, professional corsetmakers, who are paid for taking time out of their schedules to share their secrets and produce top quality, useful features. We do not feel that it would be fair to expect them to give away the benefit of their expertise free, or to undertake tightly deadlined work unpaid. It also pays two full time and one part time member of staff.

There is no advertising anywhere on the site, as per the market research carried out when we first launched it - would-be subscribers said they'd rather pay a small fee than be hit with a barrage of blinking ads every time they logged in. So the subscription fee also pays for all the costs of this site: hosting, advertising elsewhere on the Internet, business insurance and so on.

 

Q: I just signed up and I want to get started right away. What do I do?
A: Once your payment has been completed you will receive an email with login instructions. You may also log into the portal by using this link. Be sure to have your username and password handy.

Q: I forgot my username and/or password, what do I do?
A: On both the login page and the homepage there are links to retrieve your password.

Q: I don't have a Paypal account and would rather pay my subscription by credit card. Is this possible?
Using Paypal is both safe and convenient for you - we never see your card details, and you have total control over your Foundations Revealed subscription, with the ability to cancel it yourself at any time from within your Paypal account. Payment by other methods is not currently available.

Q: Can I share the information on the site with my friends and family?
A: Please feel free to share the free articles, but please do not share our paid services with non-members. Our staff works hard to provide you with quality and content; please don't share it with others. If you know someone who is interested, please join our affiliate program and encourage them to sign up. You will receive a cash commission for your efforts, and you will allow our site to continue to provide the highest quality corsetmaking information available online.

Q: I used to subscribe and cancelled, but now I want to come back (or subscribe to Your Wardrobe Unlock'dTM instead). Can I still use my old username and password?
A: Yes, of course. Click the "My Account" link (also given at the top of each page) to be taken to your subscriber account - you won't be able to log in to YWU itself but you will be able to log in there. Select a subscription type from the drop down box on the right and hit "Order", and you'll be taken to Paypal to re-subscribe with your old account. Q: I'm already a subscriber to FR and I'd like to join your other site, Your Wardrobe Unlock'dTM and take advantage of the discount price. How do I upgrade?
A: Sign up to our combined YWU/FR subscription on your "My Account" page (link at the top of the page) and then go to your Paypal account and cancel your existing subscription. If you have any questions, you'd like some help, or the subscriptions overlap and you'd like a partial refund, drop us an email at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Q: I'm already a subscriber to your other site, Your Wardrobe Unlock'dTM. Can I get a discount to join this site too?
A:Yes, of course. Sign up to our combined YWU/FR subscription on your "My Account" page (link at the top of the page) and then go to your Paypal account and cancel your existing subscription. Q: How do I cancel my membership?
A: We are sorry to see you go! In order to cancel your subscription, This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it at least three working days prior to your renewal date with "Cancel please" in the subject line. (You can find the ending date of your subscription on your "My Account" page.)

Alternatively, for complete control, you can cancel your subscription yourself in your Paypal account. You will continue to have access to the members-only pages until the date you paid up to. In other words, if you signed up on December 15th and you cancel on August 3rd, you will continue to have access until August 14th - the day before your subscription for the next month would have been due.

Q: I meant to cancel my membership but forgot. I cancelled now, can I have a refund?
A: Unfortunately, we do not offer full or partial refunds for late cancellations. You must cancel your membership BEFORE the next payment date in order to not be charged. Once you have cancelled you will continue to have access to the portal until the date you are paid up to. The only exception is if you contact us within the first month requesting a refund - we will, of course, honour our money back guarantee.

Q: I referred someone to your site, but I forgot to use my affiliate link. Can I still get credit?
A: No, unfortunately you must use your affiliate link in order to receive affiliate credit. This is necessary for accounting and tax purposes.
